  • Aggravated by any exercise and barefoot walking
  • Activities: Crossfit (5/wk), cycling and walking
  • Hx of plantar plate tear 3 years prior

  • Ankle equinus
  • Bilateral hallux limitus
  • POP – plantar and dorsal right 2nd and 3rd met heads
  • Positive response to dorsal dislocation test at right 2nd and 3rd
  • Hyperextension of right 2nd and 3rd noted
  • Pain stopped testing of single leg heel raise on right side
  • Gait – severe eversion and STJ pronation evident through heel strike
